Technology center is the main body of technology innovation of the company. In 2001, the technology center was confirmed by Dongfeng Automotive Engineering Research Institute as “Liuzhou Automobile Research Center of Dongfeng Automotive Engineering Research Institute”. In 2008, it was awarded postdoctoral research station by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. In 2010, it was approved as Guangxi commercial vehicle research center and Guangxi commercial vehicle cab engineering technology research center for the development of the hundreds of billions of commercial vehicle industry. At present, a relatively complete independent R & D system for commercial and passenger vehicles has been formed. The advantages of technological innovation are more obvious and have won many awards.
The R&D equipment mainly includes Sweden Hexagon BRAVO HP horizontal-arm coordinate measuring machine, the Swedish Hexagon FLEX type flexible joint arm coordinate measuring machine and Germany ATOS holographic detection instrument. High precision vehicle road test equipment, large parts bench equipment and other equipment are equipped. By providing powerful R&D hardware and software facilities, it will provide strong support for Dongfeng Liuzhou’s products research and development.
At present, the developing projects of Dongfeng Liuzhou’s products have fully applied CAE analysis on parts strength, as well as the stiffness, mode, and collision simulation analysis and so on, which provide strong support for the reliability, power, braking safety and maneuverability of the vehicle.

The experiments that we have been carrying out are as follows: the basic performance of the whole vehicle (including power, economical efficiency, braking safety, etc.), NVH analysis (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), wheel positioning parameters, the measurement of the maneuverability of vehicle, the reliability test, corrosiveness test, weathering test and performance test of parts and components.
